Our latest Blessing....

We are so excited for you to meet our latest blessing, Brynlee!!!!!

Bryn was born on Monday, April 21st 2008 @ 5:17 P.M.

She weighed a whopping 7lbs 9oz. and was 18 3/4" long.

She has a head full of dark brown/black hair, her daddy's chin and lips, and mommy and Braxton's eyes!

Labor was long, but not painful.

It seemed I would just not dilate forever! Finally around 4:30 P.M. I was dilated to a 10. Mind you, my water was broke and the pit started around 8 that morning, and I had my epidural around 10. It was a looooong day for Joe and I .

The first person we called was Braxton, and he was Brynlee's first visitor.

He just adored her!

Brynlee is such a good baby. We are all so in love and awe with her.

She sleeps almost all day, and is up at night for usual newborn feedings. Most of the time, she eats and goes back to bed, so it hasn't killed me just yet!

Anyway, here are some photos of our beautiful family!

Hugs!

Jen

Well, Atleast I made it to the Scrapbook Expo and Braxton's First Tee ball game!

I am sorry I haven't posted in a while.
Things have been hectic and I have wanted to crawl in a hole and sleep!
As you all know, the morning of my scheduled induction was nothing but a JOKE FROM HELL!
It started out at 4:40 A.M. and finally ended at around 2:00 P.M.
Needless to say, it did not happen, due to the hospital being "full" and my doc then going on vacation!
Sooooo, I was able to go to Braxton's very first Teeball game that night, and it was so much fun! He did awesome!
I think the dad's had more running around to do than the kids, since they were trying to get the kids all organized, and it really wasn't happening!
One kid got sick, and was sooo close to puking on Joe's back! It was funny, yet gross at the same time!
Joe is the coach of the team, and I think he is loving it!
I spent Friday night, at the Scrapbook expo with my mom- boy was that an expensive trip for her!
She had bought me the new and improved Cricut for my birthday and we found a swell deal on cartridges, at the Robert's booth! Thanks MOM!

Saturday, I celebrated my 32nd birthday!
Marc, his girlfriend Cynthia, my mom, her hubby Gary, Joe, Braxton and myself, headed up to Park City outlets for some crappy shopping!
Not much to buy when you are 40 weeks and counting, pregnant!
I did find a bunch of loungewear for after Brynlee( if she ever comes) and afterwards, we headed back down to Riverton for some Japanese food at my new favorite restaurant!
Braxton drew me the best picture ever, it had me, Joe, Braxton and even Brynlee in it! He also bought mommy some foot lotion, so he can rub my feet!
Marc paid for a pedicure for me last week, and bought me a gift certificate to get another one! I got spoiled!

Sooo., it is 3:37 A.M. and I am up! We are supposed to start "Calling" the hospital this morning around 5 to see if they have a room available today.
I am doubting it, as I have got the worst case of "Wilson" luck! We will see though....
Marc extended their stay til Wed. and My mom leaves Thurs. so I better have this little princess, today, or there will be hell to pay!
I will text the few of you I have text numbers for, but if you don't hear anything, assume, I am going to be on the news tonight for blowing up a building or something!
Hope this finds you all doing well.... Hope this is my last post being pregnant too!
Love to you all!

Swenson's Latest addition!

Hi everyone!

I have exciting news!

My cousin Amber had her little beautiful baby boy- He is such a handsome addition to the Wil's family! He and Brynlee had the same due date.

Let's hope that Brynlee can hang on a little bit longer til at least uncle Marc gets here to take care of big brother Brax!

We are so excited to meet him- not to mention, can't wait to see what they named him!

Congrats Amber, Josh, and Tanner.

8 days and counting....

Here is the update from the doc's office today!

I am STILL only dilated to a 1 and 70% effaced, but regardless, I will still be being induced next Thursday, hoping the hospital has a bed for me!

Nothing has changed, not even my weight. I totally porked out over the weekend and no pounds added? I am starting to think that maybe the bad stuff really isn't bad, and that the good stuff is really the bad for me! Sugar diet, here I come!

The doc also tried to tell me that Bryn is about 7 lbs today, well that is weird, cuz last week she was close to 6, which means if she gained a pound, wouldn't it have shown on the scale, when my fat, chunky, swollen butt hopped on?

Sooooo, go figure....

Also, for you mom's out there bored on Friday, I am going to attempt the zoo again!!! I am hoping to be there around 10 or 11, so if you want to join me, let me know, I would love to see you!

Have a great day!

Love,

Jen

Look what Daddy can do!

WOW!

You can imagine my surprise and delightment, when I asked Joe to paint my toe nails, and there was no hesitation at all!

I am so fat, that I can't reach that far, and my toes and feet look terrible.

I am so afraid to waste the money on a "real" pedicure right now, with money so tight and all.

I was also very surprised after leaving the room to check emails, that when I came back, Joe had also painted Braxton's toe nails, and not one complaint!

I think he is finally getting it! I usually put blue on Braxton's nails, but hey, Pink looks great too!

Maybe Joe could go into the nail business, what a great idea!

The Countdown Begins....

Well, the doc's visit went well today. I am still dilated to a 1, but now 70% effaced, which means my cervix is "Favorable" for an induction!
WE SET A DATE! It is the date we have wanted for a few months now........ da, da, da DA! April 17th! That means I will be out of the hospital by my birthday, and might even be able to make it to the SCRAPBOOK EXPO

My mom will be in just in time for the big arrival, along with Marc and his girlfriend. Marc actually arrives on Monday....
Anyway, mark your calendars! WE are so excited.
Everything else is good, she is a small baby he said, and she is still head down...
I have been having pains today, but that is typical after these "Exams".
We will keep you updated....
Hugs!

Such heart breaking news....

Hi Everyone,I am sure you have all hear the sad news about Hser Nay Moo .She was found dead last night in an apartment- close to hers.I am just asking quickly for all of you to say a prayer to whomever you pray to, asking to help guide this little girl on her new journey, and to ask for help for this poor family. They are going to need our community's love, compassion, strength and support. As a mom, I can not even begin to imagine the anger, and pain they are feeling right now, nor do I ever hope to.We need to teach our children STRANGER DANGER and even FRIENDLY DANGER.Please go find your children, give them a big hug and kiss, and thank the big man for such a wonderful opportunity, of being their parent, and having that blessing in your life. Thanks!Jen

Biggest Losers!

Today marks the first day of our biggest losers contest.
I actually got motivated enough to do 20 min. worth of pre natal pilates workouts.
WoW! It kicked my butt, to say the least. I feel good though, and added hand weights to my workout, to try and get my flabby arms in place.
I hope to be able to do 3, 2o min. workouts a week before baby- then after baby, maybe slowly up it to 30 min. or so....
Wish me luck! Motivation is hard to find sometimes!

Pappers Update!

Well, on Saturday Joe, Braxton and myself headed up to the hospital, to deliver the latest artwork for Pappers.
Upon arriving, we found Tony and Tamara and kids ( Joe's bro) and Joe's mom Kathy.
They were all in the visiting room and had all- except the kids- been able to pop in and visit with Pappers.

This time around, I went in to visit with Joe, as in the past, I was sick and did not want to risk giving it to him.
While in there visiting, he was very tired and seemed lethargic. They were making him sit in a chair, VS the bed, to keep him awake.
We gave him the artwork, and he liked it.
He has the breathing tube out, and had a oxygen mask/ humidifier on his face to help with the pneumonia.
As we were about to leave, the nurse told us we could stay longer, and we explained that we had better get out there to update Pappers shadow ( Braxton ) well, to our surprise the nurse said to bring him in to visit. Note: Children are not allowed in the ICU unit-
So we explained that he was young, and she still insisted, and gave us a 2 min. visit.
So I headed out to get my midge and grandma, and told Midgie that Pappers looked different, and he is sick. I think all in all, he handled it well.
We got to the room, and he knew it was pappers, but when pappers reached out his hand for Braxton's, Braxton stepped back. He was a little scared, but stayed there and told Pappers that he missed him, loved him, and wanted to play race cars and go fishing really soon.
We weren't in there the full 2 min. as I knew it was hard on them both.
So we said good bye, and went out to the waiting room, where he didn't say anything really.
As of today, he is doing okay. We were told the other day that he may have to lose a toe, possibly two, but as of last night, they think that the tissue "may" grow back or heal itself. I think this is due to no circulation, while he was in the drug induced coma.
We are also hearing that once he gets "better" he will need to possibly be moved to a physical therapy center.
As far as anyone in the family taking care of him, I think that it would be better to hire out help, as with family and friends ,he might not listen as well.
Joe is going to head up there tonight for a visit, and deliver some more art work....
